Thank you to everyone who made our Plant Sale a success! It was an unusually chilly day with some CRAZY wind, but all was dealt with in stride. Thank you to our customers who show up year after year to support our mission of creating and maintaining beautiful town gardens, decorating the town buildings with wreaths and swags for the holidays, bringing about informative presentations and workshops and giving a scholarship! Many members dug plants from their gardens to donate or grew heirloom organic tomatoes and other vegetables. We also sold and provided information for a selection of native plants to support pollinators. Thanks also to Maywood who donated annuals and community members who donated grown and dug plants. St. Mark’s church was on hand to sell their jam and treats and the Burnham School’s kids garden club sold plants to help support their efforts. All in all a great day!
